Purus’ Channel 100 drains installed
Purus’ functional and versatile stainless steel channel drainage solution, the Channel 100, was specified for installation at Karin Kampus’ modern swimming pools, in both the changing rooms and in the pool areas themselves. The Channel 100 is manufactured in 1.4404-grade acid-resistant stainless steel as standard*, making it the ideal solution for chlorinated pool areas with high hygiene requirements.
The Channel 100 linear drainage comes in standard lengths from 600mm to 2,500mm and can be installed in concrete floors with a range of finishes: tiled, vinyl, resin, microcement and concrete. At Karin Kampus, the Tile Insert models were selected for a premium and discreet finish, integrating with the rest of the interior design and matching the modern feel of the complex. Accessibility was also a priority in the building’s design, and the use of one-way falls and large floor tiles in both the changing rooms and pool areas enabled this.
*Tile Insert, Chess and Rib grates only. L15 and M125 Mesh grates can be manufactured in 1.4404 stainless steel on request.
