At Villa Svanshall, a private home in southern Sweden, natural materials were integral to the architectural design from the outset. The bathroom is uncompromisingly crafted with Kolmården Marble, also known as Swedish Green, with each slab having been carefully selected to highlight the stone’s unique grain and create a seamless finish. The result is a bathroom that exudes timeless elegance and exclusivity.
When the home was featured on Grand Designs Sweden (episode 4, 2025), it was the synergy between architecture, choice of materials and design details that was focused on and celebrated.
The Purus Square Tile Insert grate was chosen for Villa Svanshall’s master shower area, to enhance the clean, modern feel running throughout Eva and Håkan’s home. The discreet tile frame sits within the Kolmården Marble and allows the beautiful natural material to take centre stage. With its narrow drainage gap and secure fit, the Tile Insert grate is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to install.
